Regional Account Manager (KDIS)

You will recommend strategies and action plans for the Partners to generate growth in their local markets. What you will be doing?

The Regional Sales Account Manager (RAM) KDIS is responsible for the strategic and sales business development of the assigned territories across EMEA. The RAM will furthermore manage and coordinate all related commercial activities within the assigned territories which are required to achieve the sales revenue, gross profit and market share growth objectives as confirmed in the annual KDIS Master Plan.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analysis and Reporting
  • Perform Distribution Partners and territory performance tracking & analysis.
  • Perform accurate and timely forecast Management with Distribution Partners (sales and products in collaboration with the Partners (S-Sheet).
  • Proactively track & analyze KPI performance to implement performance improvement programs to enhance sales.
  • Carry out regular market analysis and report trends and strategies of competitors to sales teams, marketing teams and management
  • Anticipate local market political and economic developments and inform the management of any potential business opportunities or risks within the region (macro developments)
  • Provide KDIS (International Sales) GM with regular business progress and management reports.
  • Perform accurate, timely and reliable sales and GP forecast

Stakeholder and Business Engagement

  • Sharing Best Practices across Distribution Partners and within the assigned sales region
  • Provide Strategic and Operational Development support/assistance to Distribution Partners
  • Main Distribution Partners point of contact for management at KDE (Europe HQ) & KDC (Japanese HQ)
  • Main Distribution Partners point of contact to commercial and back-office support functions at KDE (Europe HQ)
  • Understand & negotiate with KDC (Japanese HQ) special pricing, customization, or product development for the Distribution Partners 1
  • Work intensively with the Distribution Partners to maximize sales and minimize expenses
  • Provide the commercial framework to support the Distribution Partners achieve their challenging master plans (related to KDC, KDE and CSD strategies and targets)
  • In collaboration with the Distribution Partners, create commercial promotions (Country promotions) to generate and maximize sales to their customer base across their sales region.

Strategy and Market Growth

  • Investigate and understand each territory's business potential in line with Kyocera's business offerings
  • Ensure maximum distribution and sales coverage of all Kyocera Document Solutions products in the assigned territories to maximize sales potential.
  • Maximize responsible region revenue in line with the Master Plan for each product.
  • Manage and control tender price requests to maximize revenue and GP considering the company’s production capacity.


About you

You are the type of individual who is flexible, and proactive and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. You are a true team player and can work highly independently at the same time. You will further describe yourself as innovative and self-confident with great influence and negotiation skills.
 

Your knowledge and skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in preferably Business or Technology field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales related function
  • Track record of sales achievement in manufacturing, service and software solution industries
  • Preferably, coming from the Printing and/or Document industry. If not, a B2B background is required.
  • MEA sales management/account experience preferred
  • Strong communication and people skills at all levels in a business (account management to senior board level)
  • Knowledge of the Distribution Partners sales, distribution channels and account management
  • Customer-oriented and market-knowledge
  • Fluency in Business English and Business French is a must
  • Experience in working in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Open to travel frequently
  • Capability to focus, articulate and drive targets, budget achievement and results
  • Able to manage and coordinate business projects
