This role is essential in developing the personal and professional skills of our most valuable assets: our employees! Together with them you create career paths that are challenging and motivating and fit the needs of both the employee and the organization. You are a seasoned Learning and Development (L&D) professional who knows how to set up attractive trainings based on internal needs and you have experience in coaching and guiding others so that they gain the insights and tools to take ownership of their future within Kyocera. You know how to create a strong L&D strategy that is aligned with our Company Strategy. If these aspects speak to you, what a fit this could be!
You will be an important part of the HR team in which you directly contribute every day towards our mission to grow our people and our company. As an L&D Partner, you proactively align with top management to understand the strategy of the teams and you can translate that into a suitable L&D roadmap. You spot weaknesses and opportunities in the organization, and you will create effective workshops and/or trainings to mitigate those. Simultaneously you have close connections with the different teams and team members to gain and provide maximum insight into talent management, succession planning and career management. You know how to identify talent and provide them and their managers with the advice and resources to keep them engaged and to facilitate their growth, short-term, mid-term and long-term. Next to that you can drive organizational-wide projects to up-skill or re-skill employees to match the changes and needs in the business. On the top management level, you can spot leadership development needs and proactively discuss these with the leaders involved to provide feedback and support them in finding the right ways to address them. Furthermore, you proactively share the training/workshop/course materials that you develop within KDEM-G. Together with the GM HR, you identify further L&D needs on a European level and provide the right solutions for managing these.
Your main responsibilities include the following:
By investigating the organizational strategy and having alignments with the HR Manager and the KDEM top management, you propose a yearly L&D strategy with a roadmap of different training topics that will contribute to the overall direction. You make a solid financial proposal and create the buy-in to get this approved. During the year you manage the budget and allocate the budget based on the goals of the company.
With your extensive L&D experience, you initiate and coordinate L&D projects in our EMEA region, together with the local HR. This can be on topics like talent mapping, leadership career tracks, international career opportunities and/or secondments.
Based on the needs of the organization and/or teams you can quickly set up the right L&D materials and tools to support them in reaching their goals. You are confident in providing the workshops and as such can energize employees, and motivate them to learn but are also able to provide critical feedback for development purposes.
To make sure employees have growth opportunities you suggest career paths and/or roadmaps within and between the KDEM divisions. On a European level, you can advise on career roadmaps for high potentials on a leadership level.
Whenever external training is preferred, you can critically assess the actual need, form and content together with management and the external party. You are able and comfortable to confront and provide your opinion if needed to safeguard excellent training opportunities.
With your coaching skills, you can help both leaders and employees develop and manage their career paths.
You proactively work on continuous improvement of our leadership level and ensure that succession planning is arranged and managed within the different divisions and the group on the GM level to ensure business continuity.
You are the driver of the yearly performance management process in which you provide training on the different conversations in the process and you stimulate and facilitate transparent conversations between manager and employee throughout the year.
You safeguard sufficient Kyocera Philosophy education in both KDEM and KDEM-G. You propose exciting new ways of practising Philosophy while thoroughly aligning with the right stakeholders in setting this up. You are also the lead for organizing the Global Philosophy Seminar, attended by all top management in KDEM-G in which you coordinate all practical arrangements and you practice stakeholder management to influence the content of the session.
You are an L&D professional who has extensive experience in creating and facilitating training and who has the confidence and skills to coach our employees and (top) management. You are a true team player but can work highly independently at the same time. You will further describe yourself as creative, proactive, self-confident, and energetic with great presentation and coordination skills.
Our competitive salary packages, bonus plans and additional employee incentives are sure to catch your attention, but nothing can beat working in a friendly work environment with colleagues who challenge you to keep on growing!
