Moreover, from the KDEM HQ, we oversee various international processes, providing dedicated support to Sales Company General Managers.

In this dynamic role, you will offer comprehensive HR guidance across a spectrum of areas, including talent acquisition, reward strategies, performance management, learning and development, employer branding, and employment contract matters. Your extensive HR experience equips you to strategize not just within HR teams abroad but also advise General Managers, integrating HR insights into the broader business strategy.

What does this role entail?

This role exists out of three elements: Advising, Compensation & Benefits and HR Practices and Processes.

Advising

  • Provide general proactive HR support to KDEM HQ & its Sales Companies;
  • Have structural meetings with the HR teams to check in, share experiences and indicate support needs;
  • Provide proactive HR advice, offer support and best practices on a wide range of HR and general business topics both on a local and EMEA region level;
  • Being an HR sparring partner and advisor for the General Managers of the Sales Companies - you will support them in personal HR matters as well as business matters related to the HR team or HR activities;  
  • Assess and determine which Sales Company HR needs support from the Headquarter and arrange this accordingly in collaboration with the KDEM HR team.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Set up the international C&B strategy for the KDEM group
  • Coordinating annual group C&B matters, like bonus distribution, salary increase processes and personnel planning;
  • Being a Comp & Ben expert who acts as an advisor for the General Managers of the Sales Companies on C&B-related HR matters such as bonus schemes, contracts and (local & international) labour law questions;
  • Being the backup for our local C&B and Payroll activities in the Netherlands.

HR Practices and Processes

  • Stimulate and inspire the HR departments in KDEM-G to actively practice the Kyocera Philosophy in a modern way;
  • Set up and monitor basic HR compliance controls so that KDEM-G HRs are compliant with different internal controls;
  • Together with the HR specialists in both KDEM and KDEM-G you maintain, set up and/or guide specific HR practices and processes in both HQ and KDEM-G to contribute to optimized performance and/or compliance purposes; 
  • Set up and/or guide, together with HR specialists of HQ-specific HR practices and processes in both HQ and KDEM-G to contribute to optimized performance and/or compliance purposes;
  • Together with the GM HR, you set up an HR strategy on a KDEM-G level in which we are aiming to become the company of choice and the company of growth;
  • Lead and/or facilitate EMEA-wide HR projects, like succession planning, talent mapping and leadership programs.

    Who are you?

    You consider yourself an all-round HR professional who is interested in a broad spectrum of HR topics. You can familiarize yourself quickly with those subjects that are new to you so you can continue to support either the HR teams or the GMs of the Sales Companies. You are structured, analytical and detail-oriented and feel comfortable in a multi-cultural environment. You easily make connections with people and can gain their trust. You have a structured way of working fitting with business goals, but you are also sensitive to the human requirements to be successful.
     

    Your knowledge and skills

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or similar
    • Minimum of 5+ years HR experience in an international environment
    • Strong affinity with Compensation & Benefits
    • Able to succeed in a dynamic environment
    • Strong Business English communication skills, spoken and written
    • Basic understanding of business process improvement
    • Hands-on experience with local labour law (European labour law matters is a plus)
    • Knowledge and experience with Change management methodology
    • Proactive and a hands-on mentality
    • Very comfortable working independently, yet builds the needed relationships and seeks alignments with colleagues in KDEM HQ and the Sales Companies
    • Takes ownership and can challenge the status quo
