HR Business Partner

Each person adds their skills and experiences to the team and what better place to do so than in Kyocera! We are currently looking for an HR Business Partner in our HR team. Your main goal is to support management in our HQ with developing Kyocera Document Solutions Europe Management (KDEM) towards a sustainable high-performing business. Your focus area will be on our staff in the headquarters in Schiphol-Rijk, but occasionally you will support our European Sales Companies.

You are the sparring partner for management and the go-to person for all HR matters on which they need support. You educate and challenge them on their people management activities, help to develop their HR skills and you think along with the HR strategy and operations of their departments. Your HR knowledge and experience, communication skills and positive attitude allow you to accomplish your goals. If these aspects speak to you, what a fit this could be!

What will you be doing?

 

In your role as the HR Business Partner you are responsible for safeguarding the people side of daily operations. This means you build relationships with the different layers of management and involve yourself in the strategy and operations of their departments. You spot learning and development needs with the management, risks and opportunities in the way the teams are managed and you put the right actions in place to manage these observations. You proactively involve yourself in the divisions and teams' strategy and can ensure the people aspect is properly covered. In addition, you will support employees and management with operational HR activities like contract management, HR case management, recruitment and performance management.

  • Act as the trusted HR sparring partner and advisor for Kyocera Document Solutions Management and support them in creating & maintaining an effective organisational structure and high-performing teams;
  • Lead/be involved in a diversity of HR projects (e.g. facilitating organizational changes, implementing HR tooling, changing the performance review methodology, developing talent management and management training);
  • Are leading the yearly performance management, talent review and calibration cycle to make sure development and rewarding are secured;
  • Advising on labour legislation and employee-related developments to make decisions and address future impact on the organization;
  • Contribute to the improvement of organizational effectiveness by supporting the creation and strengthening of high-performing teams, organizational (re-)design and guiding the organizational change process;
  • Responsible for case management, such as (long-term) sick leave, underperformance, disciplinary procedures, terminations and individual development
  • Take the lead and work closely with your HR colleagues on various HR projects in the areas of Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Compensation & Benefits;

Who are you?

You are an experienced HR Business Partner with a broad knowledge of both HR strategy and HR operations. You have excellent communication skills and strong self-reflection which allows you to manage conversations in which you need to provide coaching, feedback and/or manage conflict. Your optimistic nature and enthusiasm and proactive attitude mean that you build connections easily and with higher-level management.

Your knowledge and skills

  • At least Bachelor's degree education level, preferably in HR or a business-related field
  • Minimum of 8 year's experience in an HR (BP) role;
  • Experience providing guidance and feedback to the management level;
  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken;
  • Project management experience;
  • Strong communication skills, being able to influence and convince others;
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labour law;
  • Experience with HR case management;
  • Understanding of business process management.
