The Expert Project Management coordinates internal and external resources during global account rollouts and rollbacks, IT-related projects agreed with global customers and internal projects at Kyocera Europe. The Expert Project Management ensures satisfactory, on-time, within-budget project implementations for Kyocera and its global account customers. The Expert Project Management acts as front-line keeper of Kyocera brand’s reputation and customer satisfaction throughout project deployments. They are ambassadors of the Kyocera Europe Group through diligent and comprehensive management of project schedules, communications and deliverables. They are responsible for the customers’ acceptance of rollout deliverables, upon which a major component of the GAD’s revenue depends.
Project Management
- Define and manage the project plan, including kickoff meeting(s), schedule/timeline, critical path, deliverables, milestones, assumptions, communication plan and risk identification and mitigation.
- Keep a project control/dashboard tool up to date throughout rollouts and rollbacks.
- Obtain the customer acceptance letter(s) corresponding to each rollout or rollback.
- Define the acceptance criteria for deliverables, in consultation with any technical or functional resources involved.
- Centralize and manage communication with internal entities (SCs, KDE areas, service partners dealing with KDE) and external providers (leasing companies, technology providers, service providers, customer contractors, etc.) during the planning and execution of global account rollouts and rollbacks.
- Manage and ensure the progress of order fulfillment for projects in the GAD Central (‘non-SC’ or ‘KDIS’) territory.
- Manage B2B service agreements creation for the GAD Central territory, based on contract scope.
- Create the asset management package, customer profile and other documentation generated during rollouts and projects for the use of internal areas.
- Request the creation of SAP contracts based on the bid management package for the enablement of the rollout orders.
- Contribute in the definition of the SOW for projects at global accounts.
- Control the expenses during rollouts and rollbacks specifically delivery/transportation, installation, setup, training, removal and disposal costs.
- Document meetings and agreements during rollout and rollback planning and execution.
- Review and validate vendor and service provider invoices related to global account rollouts and rollbacks, as part of the accrual process for month closing.
- Review and validate the parked items list (list of vendor invoices pending validation or approval for payment), as part of the accrual process for month closing.
Resources Coordination
- Be the single point of contact between Customer and Kyocera during rollouts, rollbacks and other projects agreed with global accounts.
- Coordinate with bid management for project kickoff preparation.
- Coordinate with client management, SCs and partners during rollout and rollback.
- Coordinate with external providers (leasing, technology, solutions) during rollout and rollback.
- Coordinate with accounting for accrual definitions and month closing.
Business Development
- Identify Customers’ needs during rollouts, rollbacks and other projects and inform the client manager or the GAD manager of any potential business opportunities.
- Have a clear understanding of the agreed project/rollout/rollback scope to identify any potential change requests that may become necessary from customers’ needs or demands outside of said scope.
- Support other GAD areas in estimating the effort, cost and price of services and deliverables to include in new projects, extensions and other engagements.

Required:
- Proven working experience (minimum 5 years) as project manager or administrator in the Print industry, ITC, consulting or logistics sectors.
- Business proficiency in the English language shown through fluent written and spoken communication.
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills.
- Strong Work Breakdown Structure definition skills and experience.
- Basic contract and vendor management experience – familiarity with common contract and vendor management terminology and practices.
- Basic accounting and financial knowledge – gross profit, operating profit, cost accruals, among other concepts.
- Advanced Excel knowledge;
Highly valued:
- Current PMP/Prince2/Scrum certification or equivalent;
- ITIL Certification or used to work under an ITIL structure;
- SAP knowledge as user (SD, FICO, MM, etc.);
- Business administration background;
- International, multi-cultural experience in EMEA.
- Proficiency in other major European languages (French, German, Spanish, in this order).
