Expert Business Analyst (Maternity Cover)

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for process optimization and IT solutions and ready to start immediately? We are looking for an Expert Business Analyst to temporarily cover for one of our colleagues during her maternity leave. 

What does this role entail?

The Expert Business Analyst supports and manages the changes and planning of the improvement activities for the future in line with the company goals, with excellent business process modelling skills and project/stakeholder management skills throughout the end-to-end implementation process of improvements. The Expert Business Analyst needs to understand the current organizational situation, and challenges, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually (but not always) concerning information and software systems.

The Expert Business Analyst demonstrates an excellent understanding of the way the organization works, the processes which run through the organization and the sector it operates in. Furthermore, they will help the organization develop its functions, services, processes and products to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders.

The Expert Business Analyst will also play a key role in communicating between European headquarters and Sales Companies, acting as a 'translator' and/or ‘coordinator’ where necessary to incorporate how information technology can support the organization’s needs. An active contribution to innovation is required. 

Responsibilities

• Implement improvement initiatives and coordinate their adoption into production.
• Optimize and redesign existing business processes.
• Analyze datasets to identify areas for improvement.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and translate results for stakeholders.
• Test and verify improvements and lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
• Communicate with internal departments and external partners to understand needs and feedback.
• Use data modelling techniques to identify strategic and operational improvements.
• Assess risks and opportunities of proposed improvements.
• Document findings and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support teams in implementing changes and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented changes.

Your Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant within an IT or software team.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodology and creating user stories.
• Experience in requirements gathering and analysis methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Project and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with an evidence-based approach to decision-making.
• Experience with software and IT testing processes.
• Strong knowledge of BPM, CRM, BI, and process modelling tools, is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
