Business Analyst WCMS

As a WCMS Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the WCMS Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead in the collection, evaluation, and refinement of customer requirements related to digital and web activities for all EMEA Kyocera subsidiaries. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the ongoing development and delivery of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform for the Kyocera Document Solutions Europe Group. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the WCMS CoE, product management, development and implementation teams, and external vendors, to translate internal and sales company requirements into effective technical solutions and setups on Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target.

You will leverage your expertise in product management principles and user experience design to ensure seamless digital experiences across various touchpoints, such as smartphones, signage, desktops, and voice interfaces, for our websites. Working closely with stakeholders, you will help create and break down capabilities or features into user requirements, including user journeys, story maps, wireframe/sketch designs, user stories, product specifications, and non-functional requirements. From concept to development, you will drive the product forward, collaborating with multiple teams and departments to ensure the successful launch, continuous support, and optimization of the platform.

To excel in this role, you should possess a proven track record and deep understanding of CMS and web content management, preferably with experience in Adobe Experience Manager. Your role will involve collaborating with external vendors, applying agile methodologies, and utilizing enterprise content management platforms. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and maintenance of the Kyocera website, staying updated on the latest developments and features for content authors. Your strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will enable you to coordinate tasks, influence stakeholders, and identify synergies across teams and departments.

What does this role entail?

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements for digital processes and applications.
• Assist in the development and testing of applications and capabilities within the WCMS CoE.
• Work in coordination with the WCMS CoE Lead and external vendor technical lead(s) to ensure clarity in priorities, tasks, and daily work.
• Collaborate closely with the development and implementation team of the vendor to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Contribute to the refinement and prioritization of the backlog for development iterations.
• Collaborate with the Kyocera Product team to prepare feature requests for development and coordinate and schedule tasks or projects.
• Support the coordination of sprint content and backlog priorities for the development team.
• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and relay information to the technical team using agile methodologies.
• Assist in ensuring stability and a customized user experience for Kyocera's website campaigns, content, and product launches.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure a positive product experience and seamless integration with 3rd party tools or sources.
• Share knowledge and support the growth of individuals within the WCMS CoE.
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and platform development of the Kyocera website and integrations for EMEA markets.
• Collaborate closely with the AEM Power user to leverage the latest developments and newest features for content authors.
• Demonstrate an understanding of different technical solutions within Kyocera and their integration with AEM.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or technology.
• 3+ years of experience in a Digital Marketing position, with a focus on CMS and web content management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in reviewing and elaborating on business and technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Prior experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
• Experience in Adobe Experience Manager in both on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of enterprise content management (ECM) platforms and best practices in digital marketing
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial but not mandatory.
