About Our Culture
The KDEM Family, as we call it, has a friendly work culture where we respect each other and work with a positive mindset. Among each other, we are quite informal, just like a family! We have a diverse group of people working at our HQ in the Netherlands, rocking 32 different nationalities. Although we come from different backgrounds, we embrace the same philosophy and share the same values.

Kyocera Philosophy, Our Foundation
Like many companies, Kyocera has its corporate values. For Kyocera, these are described in the Kyocera Philosophy. When Kyocera's founder Dr Inamori started the company, he decided that every important business decision would be made with the wise lessons of his parents and teachers in mind: "what is the right thing to do as a human being?". This thought has defined our way of working like a compass. In our daily work, transparency and fairness are paramount, we work together towards innovative goals and look ahead to a successful future for ourselves and more importantly, those around us.
We care about our people!
Kyocera not only provides an ergonomic workplace in the office, we also give employees a budget to set up a good workplace at home. Employees are part of the Kyocera family, and family members are cared for well. In addition to an ergonomic workplace, we also offer a healthy lunch choice in our company restaurant. We encourage a healthy lifestyle and have, for example, the Running Club and our table tennis league. Our party committee organizes fun events and teams are encouraged to organize their own team event. In many ways, we try to promote vitality and fun!
